More than 1 million people lost their lives at Auschwitz-Birkenau (Largest Camp). Everyone in the camps looked the same. They all had shaved heads, same clothing, tattoos on their left arms and they all were very skinny because they didn't get much food at all. People in the camps were often dehydrated and starved to death. Because of the living conditions people caught diseases and got sick much faster than a normal living condition. Prisoners at camps that only lived there weeks, lost lives, committed suicide, or had broken sprits and were still hanging on. Not all camps had gas chambers so a broad range of other religions were brought there.
